It appears that the last sentence of the first paragraph has been truncated ("almost killed- " who?), but aside from that, I really enjoyed the Kyle/Jarod interaction. It's not a stretch at all for my mind to believe that Kyle is alive and well and living in Miami (and helping people just like big brother).

I love the idea of a secret communication between Kyle and Jarod via winks, etc. and also your explanation of the punch, which is plausible because Kyle aka Weston hits his own mother in an earlier episode for the same reason. Oh, I've wanted to see a Burn Notice / Pretender cross over for so long and even entertained the idea of writing one but you've done a much better job here than I ever could have so congratulations on a job well done and thank you for sharing. 

Very good, Leonie. I love that Miss Parker gets to be a dancer and how comfortable she is raising a child. She may carry a gun and act tough but we've seen how maternal she can be on the show. I'm very curious about where you're taking us. Will Jarod find her soon? Hmm? And then what?

I've echoed these same sentiments in conversations with online friends so you can imagine my reaction (*nods*) as I read this. Jarod stalks, harasses Parker and it's makes me very angry- angry for Parker, who doesn't seem to care that frankenrat is pulling the strings and manipulating her. And she never listens when I scream and toss socks at the tv.

In short, I loved it, especially the resounding "Silence." at the end. It's a shame this didn't happen on the show. Instead, Parker became more and more trusting when Jarod was really just as manipulative as the Centre ghouls. Ah, well.

I hope you will continue to share and that you will forgive this probably scattered, half baked review. When I unpack these boxes and feel oh..less out of sorts, I may add to the review. Thanks for sharing.

Mm, this is very well written, allfireburns, and obviously well thought out. It's Pretenderesque, has all the elements of an episode: the phone call, the surprise visit, dialog. The characters are well done. Indeed, it's all there. It's a perfect snapshot of a moment our favorite dysfunctional duo might share at some point and I enjoyed every word. I would love to read more from you. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, of course, we like the story. It's good to see the pair engage in playful banter. I'd even say that they were flirting. Mhm, they were. Agent Zane tied loose ends up rather nicely I think. Again, I enjoyed Jarod's concern for his pregnant huntress. Well done, Miss Parker.

What do I think? I think you are doing a fine job and I hope and suggest you continue writing the story. Your way. As for a kick-*** MP? Well, Andrea herself said (in an interview) that we've seen "more vulnerability" over the years; we've seen her cry, shoot people, get sloshed, meltdown- it all depends on what life throws her. I find that your jeans and sweater Miss Parker works quite nicely- that's the great thing about writing this fandom: Parker can be tough, yes, but we know the walls can fall down.

Is there anything that would make the fic more interesting? I think it is interesting as-is. Besides, interesting is all a matter of opinion anyway. Go with your gut.

Well done. I love the exploration into the friendship (something the creators denied us), you did a good job detailing the foundation, providing us with some history. This is definitely one way it could've gone down.

And I completely agree with you: Thomas IS a great guy; of all the things Jarod has ever done, his putting Tommy and Parker in each other's path was my favorite.
