Another Man’s Gun

As many of you probably know, Jon Gries and writer Derek Walker are trying to place a campaign to help fund-raise a new movie Another Man’s Gun.

This is a special project that Jon has been meaning to get off the ground. We can make that happen if we all pitch in and create enough buzz around it. A pledge starts at as little as $1 and will help give Jon the money needed to make his dream a reality. Can we count on you to help us get the word out there? It would mean the world to our Brootsie.

A few words from Derek Walker:

“It has been a dream of mine for almost 5 years to make this film and the dedication and commitment given by the amazing Mr. Broots has been tremendous and beyond expectation. He is an extremely talented artist and actor but has an even bigger heart. Jon is such a wonderful guy and it has been an incredible journey!! Your support and love mean the world to us and we can’t thank you enough!!”

As many of you may or may not know after playing Broots, Jonny Gries had to spend multiple years in therapy getting over his recurring nightmares of Miss Parker and an electronic spatula.

Craig and Steve have during all of this time felt semi-bad about this.  In fact, when discussing this subject Craig, with great compassion, was once heard to say, “Jonny who?”

It is in that very holiday spirit that we are asking all of you to join with us in kickstarting  ‘Jonny Who’ into a whole new life by giving him a special gift this Christmas – a chance to direct a movie.

It’s called Another Man’s Guns and all the details are here:

You can read the  WAMG Article interview with Jon Gries here.

Even a dollar or two will help him get over the spatula trauma of his past and pave the way for a solid future.

At least that’s what Jonny Who told us!

Latest Update from Derek:

That is so thoughtful of you to support us like that. It really means so much to me! I spoke with Jon last night and was very flattered and appreciative also. Was mentioning how cool the Pretender fans are and how good of a guy Steve is.
