Writing Challenges

If you change the story, the ending is up to you.

Writing challenges are challenges posted by our members and they can involve just about anything. They are a good way to get the writing community engaged and offer inspiration to writers, and can be a lot of fun. Whether it is a challenge to include a certain word or topic, character or idea. Perhaps a challenge to not use something or someone. They can be serious or fun, long or short. Anything the author issuing the challenge fancies.

If you wish to issue your own challenge, this can be done in one of the following ways.

1. Write to the PTBs using the contact form and pose your challenge. The challenge will then be issued on the challenge board at the PretenderSIM and on Missing Pieces. If you like, a page can be submitted to this section as well to further explain your challenge. Just provide us with the information and any art if you have it.

2. Post the challenge at Missing Pieces via the Challenges section. In order to do this, you need to be an active member and logged in.

Whichever way you decide to post your challenge, we will be here to help or answer any questions and attempt to keep this page up to date and if you notice anything missing, please contact us.
