This is a wunderful story.
Nothing "big" or exciting happens but it still leaves me breathless...
I could picture everything as if it was on screen. Very vivid and amazing.
Thank you for writing this!

In 1996 a television series known as The Pretender splashed onto the scene as NBC’s highest testing series concept since Bonanza. For some 12 years since its premature cancellation, legions of worldwide fans have patiently awaited for its return.
Now, in the form of a fully original, mystery thriller novel, The Pretender - Rebirth marks the exciting return of Jarod, Miss Parker, Sydney and the nefarious, clandestine activities of The Centre.

Wow!
What a beginning!
I have to say that I didn't "like" the first few paragraphs. I don't know why not but maybe it was because I had expected something else (someone else???) and I got the feeling I was missing something (like the real begin of the story?) but then suddenly I was hooked again. *grin*
I really like the description of everything and the "feeling" in this. I'm still not sure who is who and on which side I should be (yes, I have a very dark mind and I can imagin O'Quinn is the good guy who does everything for a good reason - though I think I would love to see Kaj as the hero too...).
A very good start for something we all waited way too long for!
