The Pretender was/is my favorite show. I've never been involved in another fandom. I started writing FF because Jonathan Yip asked me to write a story and woudn't take 'No' for a answer. So I wrote Melons. That's when I discovered how much fun writing fan fic really was! After that I was hooked! I haven't written anything for a long time but who knows! ;) There's always tomorrow.
Update: OK, well 'Tomorrow' came in Sept '06. Had to write something for the 10th year annversay of the Pretender. And I'll be damned! I'm back to writing again.

I have a question (oh yes I do! Even if you don't want to hear it missy!) I get a e-mail saying I have a response to a review I left for example:

Well that is nice but when I click on it I get:
a message saying I am not authorized to be allowed in OR
If I am logged in, I get sent to the first page of reviews I've left. Well I have left little over 300 reviews. So unless I go thru and look at every review I've ever left or go to your stories, how am I suppose to know which story I left a review for that you responded to???? (scratches head, oh wait! That was someone poking my head with a sharp pointy stick! Must have been Cathy.)

Hey Rachell, lucky for you i am in a question-answering mood.
That respond thing is a pain i know, but right now there isn't all that much I can do about it.
If you aren't logged in when you use the link, you get the Unatuorised message, and if you are
logged in, then you get the page of reveiws, instead of the one you got a response to.
There have been requests to have this changed and hopefully the script gets an update soon.
Until then, I am afraid we are stuck with it.

Well I had wondered where Jarod was hiding and with whom! When I plastered the eastern seaboard, the fly over land in between and the west coast newspapers with my ad for help for Miss Cathy, the only answer I got was from Argyle. Being the sweet, kind and considerate (cough, cough) gentlemen he is, he grabbed his passport and flew over to help Cathy. However, I'm sure she would have rather Jarod had answered instead of being 'busy' with the unknown girl! (wink)
OK, I'll have to check out the new goodies you have for us to play with!

WOW! After that chapter you need a cold beer, a glass of wine, a straight shot of wiskey! Hell, how about the entire bottle of Tequila and I'll even slice the limes for you and Jarod? BTW it sounds like the mystery girl needs a cold shower. (wink wink ... oh wait that was something in my eye. Darn! How dare you poke me in the eye while I was peeking thru the keyhole at Jarod! That's no fair!)
On a serious note however, am I really blind? I tried the drop down box for my pcd and it seemed to work just fine. Am I delussional or something? (And when do we get a spell check on the reviews? You know I can't spell worth a damn!)

Spellcheck is still pipedreams unfortunately. Have investigated this option and it is unlikely to be available any time soon. Although if you use Firefox, that has an inbuilt spellchecker which is pretty cool.
Get those drinks ready, i feel like I will be needing them. I mean, the unnamed mystery gir will be needing theml.

I love the way Miss Parker and Jay interact and the way she sees him not as mini Jarod or carbon copy but as a separate person, someone who is exists as a individual. I do like the way you have her so protective of him. That's a nice touch and so beleivble.
I also was wondering about the man in the cage who had looked at Jarod several times. I was happy to see that developed more and am curious where you will take it.
OK, I won't hound you or threaten to send sweepers to your house for a few days. But as soon as the evil stats are gone, I do expect more. :)

First off, KatieQ, very nice and intense. Almost cried when Jarod admitted he was defeated and really wonder if you are going to take that line a step futher: "There was another way, one life whose termination would save them all."
Nice seeing Lys back even if she's not doing well. I really feel for her. Miss Jarod's cell mate, the old man. I know you are going to have him fit in some how and am curious. And I miss Parker & Co. next chapter maybe???
Now that's out of the way ... Well it is about time you posted another chapter! I've waited and waited and what do you do? Post it when I'm gone.
