I saw a very little of The Pretender when it was on. I was very busy then, working all kinds of hours to a point where I didn't know when or where it was on. But I never forgot. I noticed immediately that all the characters had personality and depth. I did get to see a few TNT reruns, and of course they took it off before I could get into the story very much, and there is a LOT of story to get into, as we know.Finally and inevitably it was released on dvd. I didn't even hesitate. I had all four seasons within a year. And I learned that I clearly underestimated the plot and charactersI make it a point to watch the entire series exclusively at some point every year. The only place I ever found characters as good was on Star Trek Voyager. I found this site by accident, via Wikipedia.com. When I read that there is more story coming, suddenly I'm on pins and needles. When it finally does come back to tv (I hope), I hope that all the same actors will be available for the project(s). I'd have a very difficult time seeing any of the characters being portrayed by a different performer.
