Thank you for the warning. I'm like you and not really into incest which makes how much I love this chapter shocking to me. This really doesn't strain plausibility. What gets me is going back to the dvds to look at the dates on the dsa discs and doing the maths. if Jarod was four replicating the empire state he was around four when he was kidnapped. He would have been born in 1959 but Young Jarod looks older on the dsa discs at each age than we know he really was. I think the series already strains plausibility to breaking and it probably makes all authors feel like they're straining it. You can't break plausibility because it was already broken. But it's fiction and it's ok to write the implausible. The important elements are characterisations to me and you never disappointment. I think it would take Parker a minute to get her head around the truth and I hope it is the truth. I'd like to see how they navigate their relationsihp. Jarod is so much a father figure in Parker's life. He and Sydney shared that responsibility. Jarod was also guiding her, opening her eyes. This makes sense. I know you don't think it does and you are resistant to this genre. I feel that way about incest too. It can make a person recoil but that's because we look at our parents or siblings and go, "ew gross" but Jarod and Parker aren't having that experience here. They fell in love and she thought she knew that Mr. Parker was her father, and had no idea. I'm impressed. Top notch writing.

I think she left me to pursue a crush on him... but I still love the dvds of the pretender and I've been reading you for many years. You've written another page turner. I wish you'd update more often and write many more novels. You've got the characters down and I can see and hear them when I read you. How do you always write something original I don't know but I hope you keep writing and sharing your talent with us.

Anithet stroke of genius was the statue. Jarod being treated well and like an asset instead of a slave is ...that should be obvious to any corporation that believes employees are assets! I love that. The pat on the back to help employees fall to their death was spot on too. I love Parker's emphasis on ass when talking about Jarod being an asset lol.
I know they will control Jarod some way. I love that Jarod will be attending a celebration with Parker having no choice but to be present.
She is feeling awful and I can imagine..Sh was going to set him free until Lyle showed if I'm not mistaken.
