Holy cow! Mirage!! Uhh! I wish you were writing the novels. I love your original characters. They are so fleshed out and as always it's like watching this happen and I can see it. You are not only an author you are my favorite author and that's a list that includes Stephen King, Joyce Carol Oates, etc....

I love Zina. You're not Zina are you? I thought you were Jeneane 2 from your Nemesis fic lol. IMagined you writing with a vial of blood around your neck and Wiccan bible beside you. I love both women. Really love Zina too. She's so cool, smart....but... she's mysterious. That's amazing writing girl! I could reach out and touch thse characters. Wow. Just noticed the stretched out M you have above each chapter...it's like a big Mirage hug. I need it after that crime scene in chapter 1.                I'm glad this isn't going to be a xover but if I had to read a xrover it would be pretender/profiler since there was past history that was left hanging on us. You must be a big profiler fan. I've never seen Rachel written so well. Really you nailed her. ..Nailed every character. I do love your ogirinal characters. You have a real knack for creating people I love, and genre bending. No pigeon holes for you. Don't ever stop writing. You're the only author I read who writes Pretender.

OH!!! I get it. Doc Holliday...he was one of Wyatt Earps gunslinger pals and the gambling reference...the Detective shaking his fist, the imaginary dice roll and him saying "i'll bet you were you"...if I could write like you I could tell you better how much I love this. You are genius! FINALLY someone in law enforcement isn't "dazzled by bullshit" and isn't stupid enough to buy Jarod's stories. He owes it to citizens to find out who Jarod is and why he is there.

Thank you. It's not plausible for him to always go in and take over. I get so tired of seeing cops not check up on him. It wasn't possible before 9/11 but now he wouldn't get inside those agencies. Even if he did, he'd eventually hit a wall. Your descriptive work is bar none the best. Seriiously! Jarod leanign forward with his fingers like that, his posture. Mirage you are born storyteller and author. The twists and turns are amazing. Your ability to flesh out characters, set up the story and write poignant dialogue and prose is unparalleled. The seamless transitions are Pretender perfect. It's a magical journey when I read you and it's always a pleasure. It's like home. It fits like a warm and gentle glove. I never want it to end. Congratulations on another chapter down. I know you curse the Muses sometimes but Mirage you are talented, gifted with the writing skill and you should be writing the novels. But I'll tell you what. I'm glad you're not in some ways. Because I prefer your style (the novels and episodes seem so worlds apart and your writing seems in perfect step with the episodes the original storyline) and because you can write more than one story, more than one ending and they are all plausible and pretender perfect. I 💕! When Jarod messes up he really messes up. Even I forget about the diary and I'm totally obsessed with the show 😂. I hope Parker is forgiving of him and his tude..he is drunk and feels rejected and women rejecting him is a new thing for him and something that only Parker does. I listened to those songs and I love them. Real country is actually good. Willie Nelson is one of the outlaws and Roseanne Cash is the daughter of another outlaw and they are all good people with actually liberal ideals. Johnny Cash sings a really great song . it's Hurt and is really good. The other crap on country radio is basically "'murica, gun, drunk, trunk" and is embarrassing. I do wonder how this will work out for the Jarod and Parker. Happy ending? I'm too hooked to stop reading. Post more soon please!!!

WOW! I'm over here reading Kiss of Death again and you go and update for me... I love you!! This was perfect. Your spot on characterisations do my heart proud. Miss Parker was dead on as was Jarod. First she knew he was behind her and that he was smiling. Then that HOT smoking hot bedroom lovin'. Jarod did the right thing here.. it would be hard to stop believing the lies overnight. I think some of the appeal is that touch between them is so forbidden. He was the voice of reason. Ohh ooohh but she she knew he knew about what happened to her as a child. The way that went down, her saying 'you know' while straddling him, while nearly naked. OMG! Very intense Mirage. That's how their relationship is..it's always intense on MY dvds and I thank you for continuing to keep them in character. I'm glad to see they are more comfortable with each other. Kissing. Ooh that one thing.. he says he's sorry when she is visibly upset by her father's actions...and she fairly screams, "I'm okay"... she did that when they were children too. I love that about you!
