He tried to kill her at least once before with a bomb so I can easily see this happening. Very dark and frightening. I'm glad Jarod saved her. Risque Business always seemed incomplete to me. They say goodbye and later at the end of the walk Jarod turned to look at her again as if he knew something was unfinished. I'm glad this rapist is dead and Melissa never has to lock herself in her house, herself, or a bottle again. Every rapist deserves to end this painfully and with Jarod not there at time of death and rapist in police custody and the evidence destroyed this is the perfect murder. This is so different and almost darker than anything else you've written because it's so subtle and haunting...and it is peacefully haunting ..hard for me to explain. It's really outstanding and my new favorite story. Thank you as always Mirage.
