...and the plot thickens... more soon, I hope.
I'm so glad you are continuing this! (I had been reading it at fanfic.net) It's an interesting premise, & Eight is such a great character. I can't wait for when Jarod & Eight meet face-to-face.Reviewer: wormie Signed
Great chapter (with an evil cliff-hanger, too)! Anxiously awaiting the next bit.
We all just want some ANSWERS.
"I run. You chase. What if... we didn't?"
I just wanted to let you know that I'm really enjoying this. I like the construction of the story going forward with both the beginning & the middle of the story. I especially like how Jarod & Miss P's interaction is (mostly) based on friendship which grows with everyday.
Eagerly awaiting the next chapter!
First - this is a fantastic story (took me a while to catch up).
Second - this chapter was absolutely amazing...sad, poignant, and heartbreaking...yet with a little hope that good guys will win the war (even after losing this battle).
Whether Jarod ever regains his lost memories or not (whether he escapes again or not), I'm looking forward to the rest of the story (I have my own theory as to why this had to happen to Jarod, but I'll keep quiet about my theories till the end. :) )
Great story! And I loved, loved, LOVED the sweeper POV. [and the gym guy analogy - LOL]. And I have to say, it made me wonder what would happen if Jarod & this sweeper met again after Jarod was free... :)
Author's Response: If it that meeting were anything like this story the sweeper would most likely get disappointed and then perhaps trying to shot Jarod. Of course he would miss and then Jarod would, at a safe distance, point out that the bullets trajectory were two degrees off and that the sweeper should lower his aim ;)
Thanks for the review :)
Still digging it!
More, please. :)Reviewer: wormie Signed
love it! more soon?
Author's Response: Hey wormie, glad you like it and yes, there will be more soon lol
Still liking it. :) I really enjoyed this Sydney and how he and Jarod find common ground in a love of books and learning. I loved all the questions that young Jarod tossed at Sydney. Hee! [Will Jarod take it upon himself to teach young Miss Parker?]
More, please. :)Reviewer: wormie Signed
That was fun. :)
I would love to see them at the Convention, too. That would be great fun. Hee!
So Jarod has a shoe/foot fetish? LOL
Thank you for the review. I was reminded about the ability to respond to reviews on this site! I think Jarod is curious about everything having to do with Parker, so shoes would be part of that. Let's face it don't we all wonder how she manages to run in them? I'd love to see them at a convention too. ;-)

A Sequel to: These Shoes My Huntress Wears.
Yes it probably was a mistake, but I was asked to do this, so you are stuck. I am so sorry!
To those of you Trekkies, I have never been to a con, but I have seen pictures and heard about them from friends, so I have taken liberties. Forgive me if I've taken too many.
Please feel free to write your own version of what could have happend with our favorite characters at a Star Trek convention. I'd love to read them.
Oh, my, did that make me laugh! (which I sooo needed today) Thanks so much!
Miss P was pitch perfect and I could so clearly see Sydney observing everything about him with interest...heehee...
[I also curse you, though, because now a very vague story is forming in the back of my mind involving the Klingon princess... ;) ]
I keep forgetting this option is available here!
I'm glad you enjoyed this token offering. I loved your take on it. It was much more detailed and so sci-fi! good job.Reviewer: wormie Signed
Loved it! I think you really captured a defining moment in the early days of the major & Gemini. A lovely piece.
Author's Response: Thank you for your review wormie!
Great insight into Gemini. Nice little piece!
Author's Response: Thank you wormie, both for the compliment and for taking time to review!
awww...Gemini. Lovely piece.
Author's Response: thanks wormie, glad you liked it. Poor Gemini, gotta feel sorry for that messed up kid.
