Brandt is just brilliant all the way through this..really bringing the Brian Dennyahy vibes and if you don't know who that actor is google him and watch some movies maybe and you'll see what I mean. The ghosts are central to the story and I'm glad they were included. After the last chapter I was afraid this was going to end in tears for all but you've given the characters growth and they swallowed pride, they talked it out by themselves, fought for each other, and apologized. They see that what they have is more important than how they treated each other in the past ðŸ˜. they are remorseful for the pain they caused each other. They aren't perfect people but no one is and they love each other anyway. This is a beautiful story that I've enjoyed from beginning to end Mirage and I sincerely thank you for writing it and sharing it.

Oo o Long time fiction incest fan here. I ship Lyle and Parker as a rule but I quite like the idea of Centre tinkering to make this father/daughter ship possible. You make it make sense for me. Yes, please and thank you to Parker/Jarod being daughter/father and together. It makes sense. He's always kind of parented her, nurtured her, particularly in Wake Up when she was struggling and not coping in healthy ways. Jarod has been more of a father to her than her father for sure. This is unexpected and brilliant.

Thank you for this, another beautiful gift. This chapter goes deep into the soul and heart of The Pretender. It was intense when Jarod began asking her to leave. The transition back to something so much more sweeet and tender is stunning. You articulate this beautifully. Thank you.

There are houses like this. Recently a house was found inside of a house. There's the Winchester house. Tunnels beneath houses and driveways.
Paranoia and wealth make cuddly bedfellows. You throw misanthropy in to the mix for an even nicer and well hidden bed.
Broots is the man.
If Steven and Craig ever do include Broots in their fanfic novels or ever finally complete the story on tv or a movie I hope they have this same twist where Broots is DIA who infiltrated the Centre JUST LIKE IN THIS STORY!

Oomph! Congratulations! Broots for the win! He is tolerant af sure but when he finally gives out of fucks it's a sight. I love Jon Gries, too, and he is central to The Pretender, and he will give us these little bits of wisdom here and there and is protector. I love that you know that and include him. Have you seen Dream Corp LLC by the way? You should if you haven't. What movies have you seen him in if you don't mind having the conversation. Any recommendations? Please?
Anyhoo m'dear the characters are all real enough to feel up and punch. I don't like that doctor either.
I'm Lyle's favorite lovefest gal, and an incest fan. I can't ignore his darkness or what we know is canon from the series. You do right by him and all of the characters in this (and everything you write while I'm at it). You blew me away with this. I love Wild Horse right out of the gate (puns all the way babe) with Lyle kissing Jarod, didn't see that one coming. YOu are full of surprises, wonderful ones. Seriously. Holy hot awesomesauce. Asphyxia is Lyle in action doing what Lyle does and you capture him perfectly. This chapter is a result of the Asphyxia. I want this series completed NOW.
It's probabaly my favorite Lyle-centered story of yours. It's amazing. Thank you for writing and for sharing with us.
