Oh, snap! I love how crime-mystery-suspense this is and in this day when police brutality is everywhere it's appropriate. I love that Miss Parker is take-no-prisoners. You always put these characters where they need to be in a plausible and sometimes frightening way. *BOWS* Please write more of this and please please add a Forces of Nature and Cirlces of Hell sequel and continue Devil's Advocate and The Return. Oh. 2 chapters! Yay!! He's not out in a second. Good good! Parker is really on point here..and so in control. I mean she's right. And you always capture the characters perfectly so no need to repeat myself. I got those flickering lights just now. Yes, it's not a christmas story but blue lights are all over the place. I like you are tackling popo brutality this way, using Jarod. He has to be innocent right? Yes innocent people are handcuffed and beaten for no reason and it's human to want to escape handcuffs and all those hands. I love Jarod and Parker's interactions the most of everything in both chapters so far. There was another woman and now she is missing. He wasn't married I hope. I can't wait to read more and I'm thankful for the two chapters and all the terrific reads you have I can come back to during the holidays. Thanks!

I was afraid it was Miss P that was missing and maybe not murdered??? Jarod was really arrested though. I can't tell where you're going yet. You usually keep me guessing until the period at the end of the final sentence of the final chapter. I love that Miss P is the one pretending in this. Her deadpan delivery is brilliant.
