I'm sorry I've been unable to get to the fanfic for a while but what do I find... some really talented -well executed stories!

It's wonderful to see the Pretender story goes on even if it is done by "non pros" who actually do better storylines and better relationships sometimes than the paid ones. 

this is one of those. I'm glad to finally sit down and catch up. Everytime I have a story I've been enjoying I start from the beginning if it had been a while so I get back into the thick of things. AND I think everytime it was worth. That also explains why it takes so long sometimes for me to get back to a response - I, sitting with my coffee or water and enjoying every word, every well written emotional dialogue and all the insights, banter, and great moments you write. 

 So far I've had a great ride.. please contine.

Yes! Very tense and very much like the Parker and Jarod that I know and love. Thanks for making a Friday night at home bearable. Please update soon!

I have not abandoned the story. I hate it when stories are left unfinished! RL is crazy and some other projects have required my sleepless nights and I've been feeling rather incompetent, not to mention that I have the flu. (bad excuses and that's a story in itself)

I'm actually working on it right now and will have an update on Monday at the latest, tomorrow at the earliest. (could be next month for all I know but it's coming.)

Great chapter! Not a Zoe fan but it's refreshing that she isn't a villain. Jarod stuck his nose in her life. Also, I love the dance, and everything. You can keep going and going. This is the best fic I've ever read.

Right. J jumped in her car & Z had no time to argue with him. I'm not much of Z fan either btw but she is this whole other story & unlike her creators, I'm not going to leave her in limbo.

Terrific chapter. The emotions you write are perfectly done. I enjoyed the puppy story and how difficult it was for Jarod to tell it and Parker to let down her guard.  I have a bad feeling about the new guy, but maybe it is because they are working so hard at not doing things that I want them to combust! and keep that fire burning.  Regardless of  difficulties I honestly have always felt that no matter what no one else could understand them like they could each other. Of course it wouldn't be easy, but.... it would be interesting.

Also, what happens when Jarod finds Zoe? I'm sure your next chapters will be every bit as interesting and intriguing as this one.

Ah, you can't imagine what a treat it was to find a new chapter after a horrible day at work! Excellent writing, gosh, nothing will ever be simple and easy for these two, will it? :P

Keep it up Mirage, I'm really enjoying where you're taking this story! You may have even managed to inspire me enough to break my writer's block...

You know I have put off reading this because I needed to start from the beginning to get the full flavor of the story. The last 2 days I've been catching up and I found it very well written. The plot has several twists and turns that are emotionally tightly written. I was twisted by some of the chapters!

You caught the characters deeper reactions and gave them names, you labled them with a history. Not an easy way to write but certainly an interesting story to read. 

 I'm very interested in reading the next chapters. I've enjoyed your skillfully told story very much.
