LOL!! I like, I like. I too am not a trekkie, but agree that it would be a lot of fun to hear how things actually turn out. I think a sequel would be soo fitting. :)

I'm so flattered, Bucky, to have such a unique piece of writing dedicated to me! You show great creativity and have truly mastered your subject! I have been a Trekkie for a very long time, so your story appeals to me from more angles than just The Pretender one!
Casting Jarod as Worf is pure genius...he's sexily aggressive while being disguised! Extraordinary! You also hit the nail right on the head by casting Broots as Geordi; although, I do agree that he would end up with the ears at some point along the line! :) However, I would have portrayed Sydney as Dr. McCoy (he'd probably not be impressed with having his molecules scattered across the universe either) and Miss Parker as Uhura (she'd look great in those short little form-fitting dresses that Uhura used to wear)!!! Add some riveted, spiked heels and...WOW!!!
Your touches of realism (like Jarod finding it difficult to hide behind the racks of clothes in Victoria's Secret) were well placed and certainly fitting! This is definitely a keeper! I can't wait to let my kids read it...they'll think it's a hoot! Thanks again, Bucky! You're a darling!

you are so welcomed, I always wanted to see them at a trek con, but this was the first chance to do anything like it.
Acutally don't you think Spock is more like Sydney, rather stoic doesn't show a lot of emotion. Looks at things from a detached point of view?
No I cannot see Parker as uhura, just once all Kirk would have to say is raise the other ship, and Parker would throw that ear piece at him and say "What am I ? your slave, Thought you just liked alien green girls? I considered Captain Jameway, but let's face it, the uniform is all wrong.The voice is not right, and Parker's attitude just wouldn't work. Can you see her snapping her fingers at Seven?
I am happy that you liked it. It was rather thrown together quickly.

Thank you for the review. I was reminded about the ability to respond to reviews on this site! I think Jarod is curious about everything having to do with Parker, so shoes would be part of that. Let's face it don't we all wonder how she manages to run in them? I'd love to see them at a convention too. ;-)

Bucky! That was hilarious. You really should do a sequel. It would be so much fun to see them at a trek convention. I mean, look how the class reunion went, Parker was practicularly a Klingon Warrior then!
Seriously consider doing the sequel. How much fun can you have reading this adventure! I agree with your other reviewer. That is definitely the episode that should have been.
10 for creativity. another 10 for a sequel!?

As always, I'm happy you enjoyed the outcome of the story. Thank you for always telling me to write it! when I come with an idea, or when you hand them to me. ha ha. force them on me, is more like it. As for the sequel, I have been doing a bit of thinking about it. Time will tell. But there will be wardrobe adjustments made for the Klingon warrior princess. Can you picture Jarod as Worf hitting on her? I'll have to give her plastic weapons!

Interesting. I am not a Star Trek fan, but it was enjoyable. I liked how you had it in Jarod's perception and having him follow Miss Parker around. Too bad she didn't catch him, but has she ever? Wouldn't that have been interesting if the series actually had an episode where Jarod sent them to a Star Trek convention with costumes to boot? One can only dream becuase the stupid NBC canceled the Pretender. I'm babbling, so I guess I better go now.
