Story is written very, very, very, very good.
Although I'm split in two about the Ms Parker begging Jarod situation.
On the one hand my one personality (hehe) can never imagine her letting go of her pride to actually beg Jarod.
On the other hand my other personality loves the idea of Jarod being a bit tough with her and Parker actually having to do the begging for a change.

Jazzy, you are right and very insightful re: the Devine Miss P! (big smile, while shaking head saying 'thank you!) I have to agree with you when you said:
"I think that Miss P. would never come back once she'd left. she's too proud for that... even if it's real love and suffering in question."
She like Jarod, can be stubborn and I too doubt she would have shown up at his house like she did in chapter 4. But who knows what she would have done and since it's Anna's delightful tale of angst, suffering and heart ache, I guess I'll let it slide. But don't think we're going to let you get away with it next time Anna! (big wink) You might not find us so forgiving in the future.
