This piece is actually quite benign and light, And I like it! If anyone is insane, it's the people who started the madness. (no, not the Centre but the creators of the show.) 

Insane or not, it was intersting. Raines the Tiger, Jarod the Fox, etc. and though even I have toyed with dozens of happy endings, I have to agree. If the Centre really stopped chasing Jarod, it just wouldn't be the same.
