I have a confession to make:  when I first saw season four and tP 2001 I HATED the idea of the inner sense.  It sounded like so much pointless mumbo jumbo.  I've read a lot of fanfic since then, but you're this is the first piece I've read where I actually *liked* the inner sense as a plot point.  Your writing sells it--it's haunting, almost.
