Oh my god. The way you write! It grips me. Jarod is watching Parker swim and also sees Parker in the past, in his other pool, decades ago. I can't even! He's been so careful. How am I supposed to be able to THINK after that?! Every word clicks, like music. I'm in awe. The way you backfill this, bringing up to speed without going into too much detail, and again... doing that thing where you ease readers towards the the deep end, giving us a chance to see if it's too deep, instead of tossing us in, giving us the chance to get off the ride before it gets too bumpy. I see you, Girl. I know what you're doing. I love you for it. I Prefer it to trigger warnings. Trigger warnings make me feel weird, so thank you for this.

I just read FON and this chapter of the sequel and I'm excited to know how it will all turn out. Jarod is as bad as I always knew he could. I'm glad Parker isn't a Stepford wife. She is still her own person and seems challenging still!
I'm so impressed with your ability to take the dark parts of Jarod and turn them inside out so we can see them so clearly. He keeps his dark hidden well from people.
This was fast paced and visually appealing and SOOOOO professionally written. I want more and more. I will have to go back and review FON but no time now.

How did I miss an update from Mirage? A long awaited sequel to Forces of Nature. I can almost not believe it.
One hell of a ride this is!
This one's action and adventure right out of the gate. So much action and drama and your prose is beautiful, the plotting is genius, the setting of this is gorgeous. You touch all of the senses. This is an experience that leaves none of the senses neglected.
You leave no question about Jarod's frame of mind and the lengths he's gone to "PROTECT" Parker (from discovering what he has done to her!)
You really got inside the mind of sociopathJarod!
Sydney's confrontation is painful, and stunning.You really got inside the mind of Sydney in all his shrink glory!

Wow. So much wow Mirage. Finally. I didn't think you would ever sequel Forces of Nature and I'm so stoked for this. I don't know how I missed the update. I guess I only saw Rupture and didn't see another title beginning with the letter R.

Thank you for writing. I've always wondered if you could leave Parker with Jarod like that. I'm so glad that Broots is honoring that promise. I remember it well. He threatened Jarod, warned him that if he hurt Parker again he would come after him.
There would have been evidence of a struggle right? Jarod wouldn't have time to clean a crime scene and the-rape (Dean Winchester quote) (watch supernatural?) Parker's mind like the shrink he is and escape the country with a child. Would there?
I guess there was at least enough evidence to make Broots think Jarod had hurt her because Broots is trying to help her now. Oomph. Oh gods!
This is so amazing, so perfect. The timing is perfect too for obvious Orwellian-dystopian reasons.
I wonder what Michael T. Weiss thinks of everything going on politically over in his country of origin. Oh, I just opened Tashi's newsletter and so excited by all of the news of The Pretender and I missed this because I was away for sooo long Mirage.
