Jarod is less like a cheer leader a lot of times and more like a control freak.

You painted a clear picture with words of what their life together has looked like.

Jarod often reminds me of Dr Mike during the Mike-tries-to-get-into-Robin's-pants years ...and because you're not a soap watcher (I read your review responses and I know that you don't know who Dr. Mike is so I'll spoil it) Yes years! It took him years and then after the frustration and pressure he has the audacity to ask just before taking her v card "are you sure?" If she'd been sure it wouldn't have taken him years. I remember this because Halloween. He took her virginity on Halloween on an island where they were stranded....in a storm. Very carthis only no ocee to rescue the damsel from Mr handsy.

You have Jarod tell Parker to "look at me" in some of your writings and dr Mike did the same to Robin ...so I think he and Jarod both give off those vibes. It's just that type of character maybe?

Dr. Mike was a lil' problematic 2. If you're familiar? You're too young to be familiar methinks . I'm shocked that you know what the pretender is ..you are so young.

The other freeway. Omg. The characters were like an entire build up from borderline rapey to full blown rapist-phile.

Marmalade is blah but Michael's performance was perfect...spitting out that potato lol! Watch it and you will see. All of Michael's performances are perfect...so perfect in fact that it's terrifying to watch sometimes.

If you see Iowa you'll know what I mean. Michael is an amazing actor, really expressive, really goes in all the way, immersing himself so it's scary if he's the baddie.

As you have pointed out Jarod was really the good guy. He crossed lines. Do you know how good Michael is to be able to do that. You agree? I hope?

If you ever watch net worth send me a copy I can't find it any where. It's kike the man was in movies and most of the movies vanished and are hard to find .

The way you capture the essence of Jarod, the nuances, without showing all of the horror. He pushes her beyond her limits and we know he does it often, and we sort of know what that means in relation to their..marriage? Are they really married? Omfg he is so bad .. and so sexy and so hot and so so bad. That's Jarod tho and always has been. He just .. he's never been completely good. He needs vengeance, needs to labels it justice,

and taking her away and coercing her thru brainwashing or whatever is something he will call justice because that's how he does it ...he is a one man judge, jury and executioner-punishner..

He was always that way during the tv series ..a bit like Kyle...he decides.

Is he the scariest thing you can think of....which would be understandable. He can be anyone and he can do ANYthing and he said that himself and there were no exceptions mentioned

He did violate that one prisoner's bodily integrity by stealing his kidney. That is criminal. Rape isn't that different

This long term kidnapping and imprisonment could happen.

Jarod is able in his mind to justify it.

So I love this and how they seem so normal in this chapter. You give us a snapshot peek in at their life with him pushing her beyond her limits which can seem positive and life coachy but "done" means stop and Jarod didn't. You're subtle and not too subtle. It's perfect..dark. Seriously terrifying.
