Jarod in all his infinite madness playing piano and murmuring something along the lines of, "-the top notes. I went deeper, searched for the soul." 

I suppose you can say the scene struck a minor and unexpected, but absolutely percussive and resonant, chord.

It's weird, I know. You couldn't have been expecting normal from me.

Anyway, fortunately, another man had just vomited on the keys, and that sorta mitigated the impact.

Expungement. Me too. What Jarod said. My first instinct was to think that Parker could kill Lyle but that's not in character for her. She's only pulled the trigger in self defense. Removing Broots from the Centre is the best option here. I'm curious about and looking forward to the Jarod-Parker collaboation.

Your prose is beautiful, lyrical. The story is well plotted and written. The characters are stunning. It's like being there, seeing their faces, hearing their voices. It's magic. I eagerly await chapter three.

In fact, the last time I clicked an unfamiliar link I got Rickrolled so hard that I tumbled down an eighties rabbit hole-- and emerged six days later with heavy eyeliner, leather spiked wristbands, a mild crush on Kate Bush and George Michael, and an overwhelming urge to spit on Ronald Reagan's grave.

Anyway. Your link was quite nice.

The link was absolutely clickworthy.

Um. Insofar as the Centre would find Jarod unrecongizable at first glance (because they're looking for the clean-shaved dude in that photo they're always flashing) yes- something in that neighborhood, although, I have to confess, your link is a hell of a nicer neighborhood than the one I had in mind for this scribbling.
