I never mention your fight scenes when I review and I have to say now that I  can imagine myself as Jarod and also as Mark. You convey both perspectives brilliantly. Your fight scenes are as brilliant as your romance scenes and say in the life scenes. You inject so much energy, passion, and action into everything you write and that and the plausiblilty and characterizations are always so striking to me. I crave more already.

You started your response with "I'm okay" and after explaining what no one would be okay with in your shoes you wrote you're "okay" aagain. I can tell that you're one of those people who automatically answer "I'm okay" no matter how not okay they are. I can't even tell that you're going through all sorts of hell by reading your work... that worries me. You're one of those people who don't show their suffering.

Your writing is brilliant as always, I got the scene all playing in my mind while reading. It's like watching an episode.

I hate that I'm over here agreeing with Lyle. Xtians do be loving their god merch and they do put sh*t on their tshirts like they're trying to start sh*t but atheists don't give a damn what xtians wear. UNLIKE xtians who get all furious about a coffee cup or rainbow flag or get all homicidal that other people might be kosher or halal or wear scarfs and coverings on their head. I love that Miuna was bisexual. SO AM I! You bring representation to the party and it's so so important.

Mark inspirational-quote-ing his way through life is so funny and people do that and it's toxic positivity and you've talked about that before, and you totally expressed that here. I just want to show this chapter to everyone who recites these quotes to people who are suffering.

The Centre characters. Balding man in ballgown. Sunglasses, green beehivey hair with a dagger in it, and a forked tongue. Mirage I'm in love. That's the Centre. All walks of life. No judgement. Even Lyle gets it.

I love that Lyle is egging Jarod on but in a comforting way that is creepy and SO LYLE.  He's so bad.

Jarod's darkness really shines in this one too. I don't blame him. He didn't feel that his masculinity was being questioned. It was when Mark started up about Miuna that Jarod acted.

OMG. THIS LINE is so awesome. --> "With a new surge of rage, a more controlled and focused rage, a rage with a purpose and a real future.."

lol. Brilliant Mirage.

And that last line. Jarod is going to finish what Miuna started during the rape and murder. He's going to chisel out the tattoo from Mark's chest.

WOOT J-MAN is back in Da housseee! Thank you for showing that transition. I always wondered what it would like for Parker to be involved in Jarod's return. The only time he's been returned on TV is when she'd been shot and was in hospital and had nothing to do with his return.

So I feared this chapter would begin with Jarod all settled in back in his Centre wonderful lol. But you did the harder thing and showed Parker's disbelief, guilt, fear, and Jarod's fear, pain, and betrayal and you show us the tension that those emotions put on the characters, making them and their relationship more strained than usual. You showed us the transport, and what usually would be considered a transition scene left out. I'm glad you didn't leave it out. I love to see what happens between and behind scenes so big thanks from me. Oooohhh and he just got done confessing basically that there was something between them in Carthis and Parker was moved by that because even she can't deny what happened bewteen them. And that stirred in with Miuna's murder... so complex. You write them brilliantly and have a hell of a comman of the language, story, characters.. just all of it. Impressive as always.
