Woot. I remember how Parker was in that episode, just all raw nerves and self conscious and uncertain... talking about jumping headfirst into the driveway lol.

Parker Parker Parker.

She was so human there and someone we all can relate to and you've tapped into that, and always write her as we know her but as we also know she pretends to be but isn't and sometimes the mask slips. You breathe life into all of the characters in that same way.

I've got chills, My Dear. I love how she .. at the last minute stopped herself and before accusing him, realized that he wasn't suggesting that she wasn't being responsible. She realized she was jumping to conclusions. This is hard for her. Man, she thought he was dead, finally decided to believe he was dead after doubting it because everyone was worried she was losing her mind. It's got to be painful. But for him too. He wasn't trying to be cruel.

This is plausible. Her reaction, her reluctance, her fear. This is Miss Parker we're talking about. She already doesn't easily give her trust away. he hurt her so badly whether he meant to or not. 

"Flesh wounds. " Ouch. That was brilliant. I can hear their voices. I can hear Jarod's sympathy, Parker's cynicism. You know the characters.

I love your deep exploration and want this to never end.

Ohh man, his reaction when she talked about her feelings. Yes, he wants her to hurt him a little bit. Cheeky man he is. Beautiful, Mirage.

AwwwwWWWWW goddesses I'm in love with this story. Jarod's not wrong tho and look at you the NON shipper once again bringing the love to us! I'm astonished and not at all really because you don't let the non shippiness impact your writing. You have no bias. You're clearly snipping away the bs that kept them apart and giving them some growth albeit through some pain and loss and now they can see very clearly what matters. I thought she was going to walk away here just like Jarod did but being tired of the confusion and weary from it all doesn't mean she's tired of him. They love each other and there's no denying it. More than that tho they matter to each other and they were friends first and I think that can only help here. Amazing work, Mirage! Not just because you aren't a shipper who is treading shipper land but because the story telling and writing are solid.

I needed this so much right now. Life's shite! The world's shite!
