ermafreakinggerd! This creep is a ultracreep. People like this exist and I know it's not hteir fault but brrrrr chillls. Sydney dreading being rescued and not being rescued at the same time cose he knows his rescuers will have learned all about the guy and his involvement and the bad stuff he's done. It's plausible that there are many others too and that Sydney wasn't always good because Jacob condmned Sydney so I think it was even worse before then and Jarod was really lucky that Sydney had mellowed. I have so many thoughts. You answer so many questions for me.

These chapters are so small I read the rest and had to come back to review and that's my only complaint. ;) :) You write so well that I can see what is going on and I gotta say I love what I see. Jarod thrusting the gun into Lyle's mouth and into his throat is more awesomesauce on an already solid story. The little something xtra you put in is amazeballs.

:) oh wow there was a weekend?! I need to know more about that weekened. You really yank back the skin and get into the characters and this is totally how Jarod would be if he lost Syd. Desperation, fear, anger. Plus his history with Parker and that so called sexual tension but you know I never noticed any real chemistry between them and I know I might get hated on for that but they did good at showing the tension but there was no on screen chemistry.I know there was suppposed to be and so we're all going with that narrative and you nail it. You keep Parker indifferent but we know she's afraid for SYdney and she really seemed freaked out on the Isle with Jarod. She looked so tiny next to him and cold and she seemed so demure and weaker than we are used to seeing right. Damn you ARE good girl. I'm loving this ride. The work you put into writing really shows.

Oh duh I'm a dunce. You've been regularly updating this and I didn't see where there was more chapters. Hooray for not having to wait too long. I started reading one story one time and waited for like 13 years for a sentence but it never came I try to only read complete fics and I see you have completed many so I can't wait to read those. This is terrifying Mirage I just want you to know. It's brilliantly written. You are wordsmith and an amazing storyteller and narrator. You know the characters and where to put them and how to use them. You do it all wonderfully and describe it and make it all plausible .... and omg I love it but omg that is why it's so terrifying and I want more. Is Sydney going to live? I know you love Sydney. This is dark like really dark and I know dark. Not this chapter per se but this story. I slipped away from palling again with Dean and Sam over in Lawrence, Kansas to come all the way to this universe to read what one of my twitter pals says is really horrific stuff. I've seen things man. I haven't seen leeches though or seen anything about bloodletting until I read this story. I hear you got more darkness. I'm here for the darkness. Don't be alarmed tho. I'm grinning ear to ear like a big idiot. You always break from the pack and do something unexpected. It horrifies people but it's plausible and you've never done anything outside the canon. Satan. lol. I love it love Parker's reaction to it. She totally knew it was Jarod. Her shock at how Jarod hurt Lyle was surprising and not surprising to me. What really caused a big hammer striking metal sound to me was the enormous reaction she had to shoving Jarod and screaming no at him and trying to tell him to keep his shit together. She shocked herself and there's that unspoken no-touch contract between them. But I still want to know what happened during that weekend the spent together that you mentioned in an earlier chapter. Was there touching involved? Is that why she's so shocked? Or is she shocked because they didn't touch then either. You perfectly capture these characters and their circumstances and all of the nuances. I can read this forever. Please don't let it end too soon. I already want more. Thank you so much and stay well.

Bravo! Top notch Mirage. It's hard seeing Sydney in these dire straits and I know how much you love him but it's plausible. Terrifying and plausible. We've seen Centre projects go back and attack Raines and Mr. Parker with Sydney always coming up smelling like roses but the mind is complicated as you've pointed out before and as Sydney has pointed out and Jacod did bad things and Jacob looks like Sydney so I find this refreshing on on point. You've pointed out before in Forces of Nature that Sydney IS culpable too. His just folllowing orders is no different than the nazis that were just following orders. Please don't stop writing. I love your insights and style and I've never seen the characters more in character. It's like watching the series again. Thank you! Ciao!
