I Asked The Moon
by Eligyah
J’ai demandé à la lune…
He grapped the phone:
"Yes?"
“You look tired, Sydney.”
“I am, Jarod.”
A silence. Usually, Jarod would have talked. But he remained silent and Sydney too.
“What is wrong?”
“Nothing, Jarod.”
“Then, why are you sitting in your terrace, looking for the sky?”
“Because… I feel safe. I asked the moon to give me some peace.”
“Sydney? I’m really worrying now. You know I can see you but you…”
“I just… don’t care, Jarod.Tonight, I want to be alone. I want to breathe, to feel the wind, to see the stars. I just want to forget who I am...”
