Woot! This is what I'm talking about. More of this. I thought it was Parker panicking and Jarod sneaking up from the woods, but no, it was Emily and Broots, and OMG how shippable are they? Just so much. I thought Broots was expecting Parker but... oh, wow, Jarod. I love the uncertain side of him that you show us sometimes. It's refreshing. He wants to sacrifice himself on the altar of the CIA because he's afraid Parker will run and doesn't want to have to physically stop her. That's remorse and I'm glad he feels it and is having this self awareness and trying not to make those same mistakes. It's real growth. I love it. He went back to her so hooray!! Sleeping in her arms. LOVE! I'm so glad you added that last sentence. This is Pretender perfect. They are all so in character. More, please? I can't get enough of this. Please continue writing and please please please continue sharing.

YES YES YES YES! A longer chapter. YES oh oooh. The way my heart sputters up fast when they meet --- you replicate the intensity and tension from the tv series. I love that feeling. My God GIRL how the hell do you do that? You are like amazing. Do you marathon watch their interactions and study them? Whoa baby. Jarod came barging on in and I could see Parker stumbling backwards to avoid him running into her but that would have been ok. They can run into each other ;). LOVE LOVE LOVE all of it. He could hvae taken the gun forcefully, but all that time he had her mobile and she didn't know? So she couldn't call for help or call the Centre? But he knew she wouldn't kill him. God. I love that. I love the subtleties. oh ooooh It's so like Parker to carry on with work like she isn't bothered after he's gone. Need to know what happened on that weekend. Soon please. I'm grinning ear to ear like a big idiot. You always break from the pack and do something unexpected. It horrifies people but it's plausible and you've never done anything outside the canon. Yes, "haven't we all" been having trouble sleeping. So much yes. Your stories are so relatable and relevant. OMG it's so funny 🤣 how I was like 'ermagherdt Jarod and Parker just wedded' and then after reading on and seeing it's Syd and Michele's wedding I was like 'I would be ok with Jarod and Parker getting married actually...wish they were ' and did you know that would be the reaction? Shock that they married and then disappointment that they didn't marry? We are a strange bunch of pretender fans to sail this ship no matter what and you seem to know that and understand the nuances....even tho you aren't a shipper at all.

Ok first. Stevie Nicks. The QUEEN, yo! And that song? Stevie and Lindsey have a thing that might come close to the thing Jarod and Parker have. You should see them do that song live. Phheewww! So. Love this. But it's Parker who will never get away no matter how fast she runs and it's Jarod that is haunting her. Dead or alive. I love your prose, your word choice, how in character the characters are, your narration, your voice, the transitions that I don't even notice, the passage of time you show. I love how Parker asks Jarod if she's aware of his hypocrisy. He let her believe he was dead, and now he's afraid for her health and life and she must be thinking "he can die but I can't?" because that's how Parker thinks. You nail the characters and it feels like coming home to read you. There's an ease of reading even if I have to look up words sometimes to know the definition or google to see a painting or artist and educate myself on these NOT UNDERDOGS that Avery talks about. That child is a genius. An adrenaline craving genius. She isn't Jarod or Parker's bio child tho? I need more. This is perfection. Please continue?

I'm so trying hard not to spoil this for other readers who might check reviews first. What Twisted said. This is a true master stroke Mirage and a Mega Twist, the MOTHER of all twists. What you did here ...what we saw was all reverie and when we look back on some of the far fetched stuff and how the victory is always Jarod's and he never screws up and he always pesters Parker and doesn't get shot at least once by her and him trying to always be the hero and always getting away with impersonating docs and cops. not to even freaking mention the crazier stuff, the inner sense the cold dick-ness.. you have made it all make complete and total sense. Hella big thanks to you. YOu are a freaking genius.

Holy WOW!! oh, Mirage you are an 😇 angel. You write like the devil sometimes fortunately for us. Thank you for not letting these characters fade and die, for breathing the breath of life into my favorite TV series, and it's refreshing breath. I can't let this series go even if the fandom is shriveling. You could be a writer for TV if you wanted and they are probably hiring what with the writer's strike. That way you can get paid for what you do so well and still have time to write for us If you don't already have a writing job that is. Please never stop writing.
