Brilliant Mirage. Why do you never talk about this story? Self promote already. I love this. You know how to keep all of the balls in the air and it's so mysterious.

Lyle's sarcastic barbs are hilarious and spot on even if it cruel and evil and so so bad. Nicely played by Jarod. He is a pretender and he nailed it. YOU nailed it m'dear.

I will never stop seeing Jarod drag angry Parker away from kicking the sh!t out of Lyle. Jarod had to physically stop her. Best. Scene. Ever. 

I don't blame her at all.

ohh the Centre's gone. That is awesome. I like that Jarod wants her to remember things on her own as a way to measure how she's healing. That's so in character for Jarod. I love that Jarod interupted her pity party and went into the bathroom. It's good to see take the initiative sometimes you know?

So... I didn't that one coming woman. Jarod's real father. But that does make sense the more I think about it. Wow. Ahhh that last line. I love how she jokes about the PTA and minivans, caving to a life she never really wanted but can't resist because she loves that little boy. She has a big heart. I love this.

I can't think! I'm shocked. I'm terrified. I'm weirded out. OMG! This is an amazing feat of yours Mirage! The entire time you had the evidence there for us to see and we chose to ignore it Mirage! He started drugging her in Portugal from the beginning. He was scared she'd jump from the hospital roof maybe because her unhealthy habits could make her act erractily. Side effects! Jarod is really crazy protective about family and I think he would kill her before she took his child from him. Again classic Jarod during the take down scene only he's taking down MP and he's drugged and crazy...it's classic though because he tells her exactly what he will do to her and is frank with her about what will happen. He has everything planned out like on a pretend. That scene was so grahpic. I could see this entire story. The beginning. All of it. Her under water looking up in his face, J tackling her in the yard. The puppy. I love the names you give everyone and the pets names. Even the animals have the best names! Well Mirage what a ride. A scray one. Plausible and terrible. Beautiful. Jarod could snap and go dark and You give us that punch ending... "nature can be a real bitch" lol. Amazing. I like all 3 endings to this for different reasons. I'm glad I don't have to choose just 1. Thanks for sharing this and not deleting it like you threatened to in the email respsonses! lol. I love this fic. It's a favorite now.

No I am still reading. I got sidetracked. Oh WOW Mirage that medical stuff is so real the way you write it. Jarod a doctor is something I don't expect from you for some reason. It was great though. You and your muse must been at war kicking each others @ss.

Lyle's abuse...that is a stroke of genius and is a huge missing piece that was never explored enough on the show. Thank you for tackling the difficult topics and for not always having things so sappy perfect in the relationships and character's lives. I like that you show us how Broots, Sydney and Ethan worked together to find MP! Just like on the show. You really know the characters are comfortable with you craft....even if you hate your craft. :)

Ohhhh! my brain isn't ready to type...I know he doesn't kill her because I read the last line of the last 3 different endings to make sure first....lol. I cheated! He does every thing BUT kill her. It can all happen. Jarod could snap any day just like that. Jarod is so cunning inn't he? Very original Mirage. Everyone wants Jarod and MP together and happy with a bunch of babies named some version of the actors or characters VS the Centre. I like that you take the time and post the different stories. MP isn't crazy is she?

Ohhhh thank God she is free...but how will she ever be free if she is pregnant with his baby? I saw no typos...you were right about the pyscychos though lol. I like that Jarod is evil and I never thought I would. You do it well with really subtle tweaking. I love your prose and writing voice. Give me your muse. I will take her or him.

Jarod's denial is just so complete here and I think that is totally realistic given the past. He won't believe that he is really free lol. Chopin....wow! The call from Jarod was...so intense. I could hear and see what MP was hearing and feel her turmoil. That ending tho...holy hell Mirage! Jarod thought he had her but then Parker just reversed the car lol. More comedy relief with Sam and the 'not just merely' "hey where are you goinh?!!" lol I'm glad I didn't read this before it was complete. I would be crazy now!
