The Pretender was/is my favorite show. I've never been involved in another fandom. I started writing FF because Jonathan Yip asked me to write a story and woudn't take 'No' for a answer. So I wrote Melons. That's when I discovered how much fun writing fan fic really was! After that I was hooked! I haven't written anything for a long time but who knows! ;) There's always tomorrow.
Update: OK, well 'Tomorrow' came in Sept '06. Had to write something for the 10th year annversay of the Pretender. And I'll be damned! I'm back to writing again.
Reading suggestions: Fire! End of Pursuit are 2 of my best. Retribution if you're feeling dark. Love Is Blind and Writer's Block if you need a laugh.

I agree with Thara, you must write a sequel 24. There is so much more of this story just waiting to be written.

What a delight it was to run across your story. This was so sweet and unexpected. And for someone who doesn't like Zoey, (I'm a J/MP 'shipper) I have to admit I really felt sorry for her and Jarod.
I love the way you played the whole story out, the plot line was great, writing in first person made it so personal and you could see the angst that was being played out.
A sequel? Yes, by all means you should!

FINALLY COMPLETED. A saga with lots of action, plot twists, and a little romance thrown in from time to time. It's Jarod and Miss Parker's journey together toward the truth and the end.

The story really has picked up and I'm looking forward to the next chapter. The only complaint I have is that you've surpassed MP's chapter quota of 20 chapters and It's a b*tch to have to scroll thru the previous 20 or so chapters to get to the most recent one.

Ohh no you don't! This had better NOT be the end of this story! You can not just leave us hanging! You need to have one more chapter to finish it off. (Or else I'll have to use that sharp pointy stick on you.)
Now that rant is out of the way, great chapter, love the Miss Parker, you really have her down and you can see her blue eyes flash. Lyle of course just keeps coming back like a bad energizer bunny. Please tell me there is more to come!
