Bravo! Good doesn't always win- especially when the Centre is concerned and you've demonstated that well in this fic. Parker forcing Jarod to taste his own blood though...was amazing...such vivid detail. So good to see that Jarod didn't escape three seconds after he was captured.

Author's Response: I hate it when he escapes myseteriosly half an hour after they catch him. In WIC, he was there for about a month, and had the plane trip not happened, he likely would have been there much longer. Thanks!!

Oh wow, this is so terribly sad but it's so lovely that Parker and Sydney are leaning on each other and perhaps in asking herself questions, Parker will eventually stumble across an answer and choose the correct path. The story, tragic as it is, is very well written. If I were the weepy type, I'd be sobbing now, I'm certain. The title is spot on- that's exactly what loss feels like.

Haha, I love this: "Just pretend they're Raines"- could just imagine that, haha. It was a brilliant story, very well written and I love how well Parker and Jarod work together, so much like they did during the IOTH. Your son is very cool for suggesting the story! Sequel or update?

Oh WOW! Thank goodness for the random fics on the home page. This is by far my favorite pairing and as of now, it's one of my fav fics. I love this story, love that Debbie belongs to Parker and Broots. That hint of doubt was so cute, so like our lovable tech.

Oh man, another unfinished story- and I hate not knowing how it ends. It was a really good start, flowed well, was well written and you've really kept the interest and intrigue, would love to see this completed.

Author's Response: Thank you for all your nice comments.  =)  I had to write the part about SL-27- to this day, 10+ years later, I remember absolutely jumping out of my skin when Broots turned that haz-mat suit around and the skeleton bumped agianst the faceplate!  =)  I'm in the process of writing more Madeline stories, as well as hopefully finishing up a couple more I started but never finished- "Practice Will Eventually Make Perfect" actually deals with those shackles on the exam table and what they potentially could have been used for.
