Fell a few chapters behind! I love the curious Jarod you are writing! It certainly woudl have been an interesting twist had Sydney and Jarod gone off together, at least for the first while. 

I'm glad your muse is cooperating. For the record mine is, it's just forced to compete with grad school. ;)

I had to go back as i was sure i had missed something between chapters 11 and 12! Sneaky you ;) I guess this is much kinder than leaving readers with annoying cliffhangers for months on end. I think some of us could learn a thing or two from you!

I shall look forward to the Syd/J interaction that is bound to come out of this! And poor Broots.. life is a lot harder with Syd taking some of the flack! is that even how you spell flack? i somehow doubt it.

well the epiphany seems like an excellent one to me! I am most intrigued... Parker's attitude at the 'real time' segment was very well-done, and i like the non-lame way you incorporated the scrolls.

Oooh... another fantastic chapter from an amazing writer :) I find our famous duo's attitude at the end very intriguing, and the whole thing with Jarod's mother, and wtf happened in Armernia? So many mysteries! I cannot wait to read more :)

PS - If every time I post, i get another chapter of this.. well i just may find the time to write a bit more frequently ;) 

ooh .. i am so very interested to see where you are going to take this. i have a feeling that things may not be as they seem, or maybe not, it's hard to stop thinking that everything is a conspiracy... but great writing and sorry for the rambling review.

The whole Syd/J interaction was perfect. It really underlines what probably should have happened between those two characters years and years and years ago.

You wrote it brilliantly, and i cannot wait for the next chapter!!

Wow MP.. this just gets better and better! It was well written and i enjoyed the 'rare' glimpse into the political structure of the Centre. Looking very much forward to the next installment!

It was a wonderful chapter! You did very well with the center piece from Jarod's POV, and you had to feel for Syd wanting to help but not.

It will b e interesting to see how Parker's character handles her decision.. i sense some flip-flopping.

You have a wonderful writing style and obviously the world's best beta's a gal can have. I shall look forward to the next installment, and pelase take your time. The slower you are.. the better i look ;)

It was actually this part that wouldn't leave me alone "My first impression of Jarod: well, he didn’t look like a genius. He looked more like the annoying guy you run into at the gym." Just had to get that on into a story. Or more honestly, at first it was one slighty different sentence but I got some help making it flow better.
