She looked into his eyes and the world around her disappeared. His eyes had the colour of chocolate, coffee or in some specific light of space.
Every time she looked into those eyes she felt whole.
Something in there reminded her of her mother even though it were Jarod's eyes.
He knew of his influence on her and used it to his purpose.
He closed his hands around hers and took her gun.
She looked away and sweared when she found the gun in Jarod's hand.
"You don't want to kill me, Parker, you still need me as a link to your past."
