The future, so unclear.
The present, unbearable.
Just can’t relieve the fear.
Your past was so horrible.
Yet you show no fear.
You remain the Ice Queen.
Showing not a tear.
My past was stolen.
When I was a child.
Caged from the outside world.
I dreamed to be wild.
We share similarities,
Yet lead two different lives.
Yet how different are we?
When we are both struggling to survive.
How did we become like this?
What have we done wrong?
Our hearts forever scarred.
Forever is way too long.
You are in charge of my freedom,
Hunting me down as we speak.
Chasing me with all your effort,
But is it my recapture that you seek?
The hunter and the hunted.
The lion and its prey.
Playing cat and mouse,
Every minute and every day.
You may think you got me,
But I’m always one step ahead.
Facing fear everyday,
Yet your arrival that I dread!
You may think you are the Ice Queen,
With that fancy gun in your hand.
But I have a lot more smarts than you.
