She smiled and took the hand he offered her, stepping into his embrace, just like she remembered. His shirt still smelled of springtime and woodchips. She buried her face in his neck, holding just as tightly as he. If it were up to them, they’d never let go.
Time was slower then usual, yet was over in an instant. The scene was beginning to fade and the seconds rolled backwards against them.
