Woot! Did not see this coming. Hell of a twist! I think even tho Parker is a bad ass trained assassin etc, etc. and all it's her twin and most of her bad assness was faked a facade, etc ECT all  and she must feel she's disappointed her mum and Ethan and Jarod so I think there would be shock...this amount of shock. The arousal and freedom feels I can see because it's parker. This is aaaaaMazing!

Oh wows and oh whoas.... "You said I'm always with you during the most difficult...". God! I love this. I love how he shows his love for her without saying it and maybe scaring her away or something. She and lyle are even now! I also love so much that it's the machine lyle had requested for the centre in the crematory that they use! Lyle's really been digging his own grave for a while. A ranch of refuge called REFUGE...oh my God.

OMG I can see the characters and....oh all of it ! Jarod's ringtone would be that music from the magic flute!! He talked about that Mozart taking him anywhere and he said he felt he could be anyone and do anything!!!

I didn't expect this. I know Jarod is problematic. I get it. Parker taking about her darkness in the face of Jarod's own darkness. They just seem so similar. This is a true equilibrium. I just love this. You nailed it all.

I like that Parker doesn't immediately stay, that she leaves, that it's more like a long term build up of becoming friends again with Jarod and then long term courtship. I love that it's similar to what Ben and Catherine shared. You build on what we already know and use it to advance the story and that's how it's supposed to be done.

I'm so happy that a happy continuation is in store for them. They deserve it! You're a master storyteller and an outstanding author.
