Woot! This is what I'm talking about. More of this. I thought it was Parker panicking and Jarod sneaking up from the woods, but no, it was Emily and Broots, and OMG how shippable are they? Just so much. I thought Broots was expecting Parker but... oh, wow, Jarod. I love the uncertain side of him that you show us sometimes. It's refreshing. He wants to sacrifice himself on the altar of the CIA because he's afraid Parker will run and doesn't want to have to physically stop her. That's remorse and I'm glad he feels it and is having this self awareness and trying not to make those same mistakes. It's real growth. I love it. He went back to her so hooray!! Sleeping in her arms. LOVE! I'm so glad you added that last sentence. This is Pretender perfect. They are all so in character. More, please? I can't get enough of this. Please continue writing and please please please continue sharing.
