Ohh. On one hand: poor Ethan. On the other hand: I'm quite proud of wonderboy for taking Parker's gun. A rather tragic chapter end, MissParker87, and a well written too.

Ethan's death was the conditio-sine-qua-non behind this story, the idea I had at he beginning to develop it. I thought that in my other long fiction, Mind Rain, tragedy wasn't included. I felt the need to put some major death in this one, as a pretext to help MP and J getting closer. I think it worked.

i love that he's the weak one for once. and the way mp rises to the occation and grwos so much is wonderful to see. their developement is so natural.

That was the first idea that came in my mind. I wanted Jarod to be the weak one, for once in a lifetime.

Well that was depressing! And totally believable. It's a wonder Jarod didn't completely fall apart with all of the things he saw and had happen to him!
