This was very good. You took a simple idea and handled it beautifully. The very fact that Jarod's first reaction to Jason was suspicion gave proof that he needed help with regaining the love he had for meeting new people and the great satisfaction it gave him to help them. That parallel between his more recent behaviour and Jason's message was powerful. Looking forward to chap. two.

This was really good. The portrayal of Gideon was spot on. The connection between Jarod and Gideon was nicely written and compelling. Not a big fan of crossovers usually, but as they say there is an exception to every rule. Looking forward to where you take this.
