Title: Chapter 1

Your paragraphs on Jarod's thoughts and insights are interesting although too brief. I prefer your longer stories. I get more involved in reading the longer stories. You write well, so it is more of my preference --which you do not have to consider!

I enjoyed your mix of Trek and the Pretender so much I just keep looking for a longer story. Oh, and I have to say I'm a Parker fan. I always have the had this deep feeling that the two of them will never find anyone that would have the insight into each others behavior and accept it as part of who they were/are.

I do hope you continue to write but I'm looking forward to another nice long story!

Author's Response:

I'm actually presently working on a couple longer stories, but they're sort of disjointed at the moment. I love writing the drabbles, though. It's a good exercise for me, since I'm terribly long-winded, usually. Not to mention that every time I write a Pretender story, I feel vaguely guilty since I really should be writing my real books, the ones I actually want to get published. Sigh.

Did you read "Be Seeing You"? It's shorter than the Star Trek story but much longer than the drabbles.

I agree with you on Jarod and Parker. Thomas was truly awesome for Miss Parker, but he's dead, and anyway, I think Jarod revealed at least a great deal of true care and affection for Miss Parker when he sent Thomas her way. In the greatly-hoped-for but uncertain third movie, perhaps they'll do something with the two of them. I hope so. But, you know, I'm actually more interested in Jarod's relationship with Sydney. I explore that a lot because it's intensely fascinating.

Thanks for your review. Keep your eyes open for a couple more (slightly) longer ones coming soon.
