Wow, I really love this story so far. You have me on the edge of my seat with each chapter. Poor Jarod, he's in a very bad place mentally (and physically) right now. I'm surprised Angelo can't get the camera's turned off in the other rooms so Jarod could escape through the vent in his cell. I hope they come up with something soon.

Glad you enjoyed it! If you're on the edge of your seat, imagine how my poor characters feel :) Re Angelo and the key . . . well, there's lots of cameras and only one key. It's a special key that only works when it's in the camera. (and that's the story I'm sticking to!)
I'll warn you, though, this is an ambitious piece on my part. Resolution is more than a few chapters away, and things will get worse for Jarod before they get better. But, no more on that subject! Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed, and I'll try to have updates posted soon.

Two in one week! It's beyond exciting. There were so many great lines in this. I loved "This was so very Parker: a promise buried in a threat wrapped up in a warning." and the part about family history, made me laugh out loud. Loved the Jarod/Parker interaction at the end. I'm very anxious to read more!

spoiled we are!! thanks for another chappie so quickly :).. it was a nice treat. YOu have a great/fresh writing s tyle and it's a pleasure to read.. the MP/J interaction at the end was very realistic (IMO anyways!).. and the full-circle concept from the blood sample/flashback was great.. and you can know see by this rambling disjointed review that my muse is not with me at all and hence the reason i ahve no posted in ages, as i seem to be incapable of stringing together coherent sentences, so i will end with a WONDERFUL job, and i cannot wait to read more and end this before i shame the english language anymore.
