I do find it somewhat unbelievable that Raines held the power to the Centre single handedly. But because you suggest it's all a dream it works rather well. I really like how you start the story in present time in Parker's POV, good way to make it come alive, so to speak. And her "walk of death" with the tower sweepers, wordlessly patching things up with some of her greatest enemies, is very interesting and made me think.

 So to sum up, I loved it.
