It's the second time I read this fic and I must admit Chapter 9 is really difficult to "digest". Anyway, this is a nice story. It's different, special. Mercedes is a weird character: at times you love her, at times you want to kill her. But I love the fact she makes Parker open and realize that she loves J. And don't worry about the ending: Jarod told us once: "sometimes the destination isn't as important as the journey!"

“It’s been a difficult situation,” Mercedes admitted. With a smile she added, “But then, things have never been easy for the two of you.”
“There’s the understatement of the century,” Parker smirked.
