Awww . . . I really like this.
And a question: I've seen several other authors also use the idea that Mr. Parker's abuse of Miss Parker extended further than we see on the show, and at least one other story I've read even refers to Jarod recognizing the signs in her. What do you see in her behavior that seems to point specifically to that? I'm not trying to suggest you're wrong (I think it's a very plausible idea), I'm just curious what people see.
