Of all the stories of this wonderful site, this is certainly my favourite! The perfect plot, the humor, the right timing, the love...it's just..it feels so right!!! Thank you very much for writing it so well. (sorry for my english) Congratulations.

That dancing scene, so well done. The situation between Jarod and Miss Parker was utterly electric. >"With all due respect, Mr. Lyle, might I suggest that Zoe may feel a bit more comfortable to speak freely when not in the company of the man who abducted her at gunpoint?" haha, he makes it sound like an oh so casual occurance ;) >"It's not that... it's... You may not realize this, but people don't generally announce to authority figures that they've just spent the morning going at it like crazed monkeys." >"Miss Parker," Jarod began with a gleam in his eye. "I'll have you know that I spent many hours observing monkeys copulating, and not once in all that time did I witness..." LOL! *cackles loudly!* >"But I can't give my parents back the child they lost any more than they can give me back my lost childhood. The best we can do is enjoy who we've become, the people we are now. And the person I am now is at his best when he's with you. That's so sweet, and so good that they're finally coming to terms with their lives and the impact The Centre had on it. I was worried for a while what Zoe warned Miss Parker about would come true.. The Centre just doesn't vanish like that, so phew, that things did calm down. And Lyle being so "nice" in the end. I guess he just wanted to get rid off her though. A great story this :)
