Author's Response: Thank you so much. =) I originally planned on moving next to chapter 7, more season 3/Thomas stuff, but after hearing some feedback from my great betas about "Surprises Around Every Corner", I think season 2 stuff hasn't been fully explored yet. Author's Response: Thank you again. =) Lyle definately senses Madeline's fear of men in general, and it definately goads him on! He's giving me a little trouble at the moment, but I'll beat him into submission soon. ;)

OH YES!!! Just read all three chapters and wow, I love that you incorporated Thomas into this fabulous story and YES, it meshes perfectly. "We came to an understanding.." Love that part! Wonderfully written fic here. Thanks for sharing!

Going back and rewatching the show again, I really really came to love Thomas and how happy he made Miss P... and I had to show Madeline's reaction to a strange man coming into the mix. Unfortunately, it doesn't end well, which is what the next chapter will be about. =( But right now, I'm working on a part revolving around the season 2 ep where Brigitte tried to kill Mr. P... Madeline always seems to find herself in awkward situations! ;)
